All candidates seeking admission should fill out an application form provided by the college. The application form should be requested from the college by paying Rs.100 (US $2) in the form of check or money order payable to the college.

Deadlines:

All applicants should send in the application by the first week of July. The following documents are required along with the application form:

  1. Transfer Certificate and  Character Certificate from the last attended institution

  2. Original Marksheets and Certificates of the last examination along with two attested copies of the original marksheets and certificates.

  3. Proof of Date of Birth.

  4. Passport size photos (3).
  5. Migratoin Certificate (if required).
  6. An essay stating your interest in the MHKW College.
  7. An essay of 500 words on a subject of your choice.
  8. Income certificate.
  9. Other elimentary certificates for various categories(such as SC\ST\OBC etc) and service(Army\Navy\Air Force etc.).
  10. Payment of applicable fees.

The college admits students in its degree programs based on their academic standings. Students who have finished 10+2 with at  least  60% marks should apply for admission.

Profile of current students

Students come from more than 50 villages and hamlets representing over 20 different senior higher secondary schools. Students represent nearly all social, income and religious groups in a wide area. A significant majority (85% and more)of students come from Scheduled Castes, Minority and Other Backward Classes as defined by the Government of India. Most of these students are from lower income groups and first in their families to go to college.

The college is very pleased to have perceived this very significant benefit of higher education to such a large number of villages, families and social groups. The college hopes they will help build their communities after graduation and create conditions for a sustainable, environmentally friendly development in the area.

Some students live on the campus in the new residence hall that can accomodae nearly 100 students. Residence hall capacity is being expanded to meet the growing needs each year.
